Westra Saelis is the High Inquisitor of the Order of the Lantern, at the head of its Inquisition.1 She took charge of the investigation into the Everfire Lamp explosion at the Festival of Bells, which the Order took over from the Stone Shields after the device that opened the passwall was found.1

Session 2

Saelis conducted a tense interview of the party at Stone Shields headquarters on the morning of 25 Coldrise.1 She told them Miles Quickstep was suspected of ties to the Tarnar Syndicate and showed them a sketch of him.1 Luma’s literal answers, including a correction to the sketch, frustrated her to the point that she came close to striking her.1 She ordered Iva and Temerity to hunt Miles through the maintenance tunnels and conscripted Luma to navigate for them.1

Session 14

The Tarnar Turnstone that the Stone Shields had held was no longer theirs by 1 Nightdeep, 1714 PSF: Saelis had taken it.2
