Calypso is one of the Sisters. She works out of Argentum and carries word between the city and the Sisters' farm, where Hazel grew up.1 Hazel stays with her in the city, at a door that takes a password.2

Biography

Session 4

Hazel returned to Calypso on the night of 25 Coldrise, 1714 PSF, and explained what she had got herself into. Calypso told her she was talented but needed to learn wisdom, and that she would not leave a sister to the wolves.3 She also passed on word from Hecate: the Sorrow was getting worse, and the ritual reagents were needed as soon as possible.3

Session 6

Calypso sent word ahead to the Sisters' farm that Hazel was coming and bringing company, so the party was expected when they arrived on 27 Coldrise, 1714 PSF.1 Facing Hecate’s questions in the backyard, Hazel remembered Calypso telling her that the last reagent was not important and that the ritual would work without it, and refusing to say any more than that.1

Session 8

On the road south Hazel said she could not keep one of Luma’s tracking maps where she was staying, because her sister in Argentum knows the dangers of magic that finds people’s locations and distrusts it. The sister was Calypso, whose name Hazel kept out of it.4

Session 9

At dinner on 29 Coldrise, 1714 PSF, Hazel said she should get back to “Calypso”, then corrected herself to “my sister”.2 Calypso was in the kitchen reading over tea when Hazel came home. She started to say that Hecate had told her Hazel would be back, and then noticed what Hazel was wearing.2 Told that a friend had dressed Hazel for an interview as a tavern wench, and that Hazel thought it best to take a layman’s job, she said that was fair, and told Hazel she looked good and that the look suited her. Hazel went red, thanked her and went to bed.2

Session 14

When Hazel came back on the night of the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF, Calypso was not about, probably already in bed.5 The next evening Hazel told the party that her sister in the city could help her send word to the farm, and that apart from Calypso and the sisters at the farm, the sisters she knows of are nomadic and roam the Vale.5
