The Masterwork Dwarven Pistol is a magic pistol of dwarven make. Luma found it in a hidden workshop in Vault 18 of the sealed Underforge Vaults beneath Argentum on the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF, and kept it.1
Description
Appearance
The pistol is elegant and finely crafted in a clear dwarven style, made of exquisite dark wood, with its metal fixtures and Dwarvish runes in a bright, silver-white metal.1 It was kept in a wooden box about a foot and a half long, with a little brass clasp and intricate silver inlay in a geometric pattern, and came with twenty ordinary bullets.1
Properties
The pistol is much like the masterwork dwarven hand axes.1 It is especially dangerous to creatures that have changed their shape.1 To Iva it feels very cold and uncomfortable, though it does not hurt her as such. Hazel can touch it and feel fine.1
Mechanics

This pistol is made of exquisite wood and etched with Dwarvish runes in a beautiful silver-white metal. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Additionally, when you score a Critical Hit with it against a creature that is shape-shifted, the weapon deals one additional die of damage.
The pistol is a +1 weapon that is also a silvered weapon.1
History
Session 11
Luma found the box on the desk in the workshop after the party destroyed its stone defenders. “I found a gun!” she said, and brandished it, and everybody ducked.1 She identified it, told Iva and Hazel to be careful of it, and poked Iva with it to prove a point.1 Hazel thought a gun that works against shapeshifters might be worth keeping, and Luma decided to keep it, though she knew she was not supposed to take anything from the vault. She was clearly uncomfortable with it, but the vaults were dangerous and all she had was a crowbar.1
Session 13
Luma loaded two bullets into it and blasted a hole all the way through the largest phase spider beneath the Fardrimm Gate.2
