The Vigil of Remembrance is a festival in the Calendar of the Silver Flame. It falls on the single day between Coldrise, the eleventh month, and Nightdeep, the twelfth. It is a holy day of the Silver Flame honoring the dead and the sacrifices they made to build Argentum, and it is tradition to leave out candles.1
Observance
In Argentum the lava lamps are shut down for the Vigil, and small pale wax candles line the edges of the streets, with two or three in every window.1 It is the only holiday in Argentum without a big festival. It is quiet and reflective, and most people stay home, though it is not taboo to be out.2 In Crick's Bend, and among the humans of Erhadell more attuned to the faith, it is one of the festival days between months, for honoring the dead.1

The party spent the morning of the Vigil in 1714 PSF going down into the sealed vaults beneath the Silver Archives for Luma’s survey.3
Session 13
The party came up from the vaults on the evening of the Vigil into candlelit streets. Luma realized she had worked on a holiday, and Hazel, to whom the Vigil was new, suggested leaving out candles for the dwarves of the Fardrimm.1

The party came up from the vaults into the candlelit streets on the evening of the Vigil in 1714 PSF. The Dancing Sword was open but quiet, with no performers.2
