Beepo

Beepo is a small construct that Luma made on the night of the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF, in her apartment in Argentum.¹ Luma does not know what he is.¹

Description

Appearance

Beepo is built around a bottle of glowing neon green-blue ink. The ink sloshes about inside when he moves, but none pours out of the top.¹ A ruby is jammed in his head, though it is not clear whether he sees through it.² He was not built very well.²

Personality

Beepo makes no sound but the slosh of his ink and the clink of his parts. If he opens his mouth, ink pours out.² He always seems to be staring at Temerity, which unsettles her.²

Biography

Session 14

Luma bought an uncut ruby from a gnome jeweler near her apartment that night.¹ Back home, a little drunk and with her great-grandfather’s letter set aside, she laid out the ruby, bottles of phase spider and cloaker fluids, and the broken shards of a spent Tarnar Turnstone, and spent several hours drawing the components together.¹ When she finished, they dissolved into the page and became Beepo, to her panic.¹

The next evening Luma introduced him to the rest of the party at her apartment. He waved, and fired a laser beam at a makeshift dartboard on her wall.¹ Hazel called him beautiful.¹ Temerity stared, and later held up a hand to block him from view.¹

Session 15

Luma and Hazel spent the night of 1 Nightdeep, 1714 PSF, teaching Beepo to dance.² His eye alone had cost ten dragons, Luma said.²

Abilities

Beepo is a homunculus servant.¹ He can fire a laser beam.¹ He can also fly: the ink bubbles out of his bottle and becomes a little hot air balloon.¹
