Daisy

Daisy is a half-elf woman who came to Rhysaene’s apartment in Argentum late on 1 Nightdeep, 1714 PSF, introduced herself as a courier, and asked for a ledger.¹

Description

Appearance

A very pretty woman with a cute face and a very small button nose. Her light blonde hair is cut just longer than a buzz cut, and under one eye she has a small tattoo of a white four-petaled flower with a yellow center.¹ She wore a light cotton poncho, embroidered all over with flowers in the same style, that hung from her shoulders to her knees. Under it was dark, heavy leather armor.¹

Personality

Daisy is bright and chipper, and flirtatious even with her blades drawn, though with bloodlust in her eyes.² She was hired to kill, and charges extra for magic users.² She ran when she saw she was outmatched.² Rhysaene could find nothing in her that ran against what she said, and no hesitation in her voice.¹ She smiled and winked at Iva in passing.¹

Biography

Session 14

Daisy knocked at Rhysaene’s door at nine or ten in the evening and asked to speak to her about a private matter.¹ In Rhysaene’s bedroom she said she was there to pick up the ledger, and that Lathiel had sent her.¹ Asked how she knew Lathiel, she said she was just a courier.¹ She suggested places the ledger might be hidden: the back of a drawer, a cupboard, loose floorboards under the bed.¹ She was supposed to pick it up that night.¹

When Rhysaene suggested she step outside, Daisy said, “Nah, that’s okay. I figured we were gonna have to do this the hard way.”¹ Her poncho flew up, and she drew two shortswords dripping with a clear fluid and lunged at Rhysaene.¹

Session 15

Daisy wounded Rhysaene badly with her first blow, and hopped up onto the bed for the high ground.² When Iva broke in and Rhysaene drew her greatsword, she said, “Two of you. No one said you were a magic user. This is going to cost extra.”² She poisoned her blades again and struck Rhysaene down, then put herself between Iva and the door to keep the only witness from leaving.² Badly hurt, she decided to get out alive. She smashed the bedroom window, dropped one shortsword as she climbed out, and shot Iva with a poisoned hand crossbow bolt as she went.² Iva had seen enough of her to take her face.² The next day Hazel followed her trail from the window to a tree in the park, where she had stopped to hide and rest and dropped a vial of basic poison, and on to a main road, where it was lost.² She did not come back that night.²
